Jessie Read is a queer and trans Registered Psychotherapist specializing in working with trans, gender expansive, non-binary, and questioning community members. They also work with folks living at the intersection of trans identity/gender variance and autism/neurodivergence. Jessie is passionate about anti-oppressive practices focused on helping clients write their own authentic and preferred story. Jessie’s practice is justice-oriented, connecting clients to an experience and legacy of agency, empowerment, and community support.
Jessie completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Warren Wilson College in 2010 and Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Prescott College in 2018. Outside of his private practice, Jessie provides relationship-based behavior therapy for kids ages 2 to 6. Jessie loves to hike and camp and plays some very amateur and very fun banjo.
