SEED SWAP & SHARE – Saturday & Sunday March 2nd and 3rd, 2019 from 1pm to 5pm

Need Seeds?? Come to Community Care Collective to browse and collect seeds for your 2019 gardening ventures!

Traditionally, we call it a Seed Swap – but really, we have SO MANY.
Please JUST TAKE SOME SEEDS HOME if you don’t have any to swap!
Of course, if you do have extras that you would like to share with others,
feel free to share them as well.
Herb Seeds! Veggie Seeds! Flower Seeds!
Varieties for small spaces and pots as well as for urban farms!!
Come find new varieties and chat with some local gardening community.

 

~ Next COMMUNITY DAY CLINIC: Sunday, 24 March from 1-5pm!!

Community Day Clinic = Community Care Collective’s monthly Donation (Pay What You Can – and yes you can pay with a smile) clinic to make sure that EVERYONE has access to good medicine.

All welcome! Please arrive anytime between 1pm-4:30pm.  Treat yourself and try something new! While donations to support our programs are always accepted, we DO NOT require payment for Community Day services.

Services offered depend on which providers are volunteering that day and can include Acupuncture (Community-Style Acupuncture is always offered), Massage, Vibrational Sound Healing, Reflexology, Reiki, Cupping, etc.

 

~ Next PFLAG GENDER EXPANSIVE KIDS GROUP: Sunday, 3 March from 11am-1pm

The Gender Expansive Kids Group provides support for children ages 3-13 who may identify as transgender, non-binary, gender nonconforming, gender fluid, or those exploring gender identity/expression. The group welcomes siblings and creates a safe space for kids to express themselves. Facilitators divide the kids into age-appropriate groups and offer a fun activity, craft, or game related to a supportive topic. Group topics may include confidence, bullying, making friends, activism, creativity, and celebrating our differences. Parents & Guardians meet at the same time in a separate room. Snacks are provided.

Community Care Collective is proud to host PFLAG Denver‘s monthly gathering for Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming individuals as well as their parents, family members, friends, and allies in our community. This group is a safe and welcoming space to ask questions and have honest and frank discussions about gender and gender identity.  The 2nd Wednesday of every month at Community Care Collective. Child and family friendly. Snacks served.

A peer run support group for disabled folks in the LGBTQ+ community.  This will be a safe place to discuss ableism, discrimination, disability related dating and relationship struggle. RSVP through our Facebook event page.  Facilitated by Storie Garrity.

~ COLORADO QUEER NEURODIVERSITY NETWORK SUPPORT GROUP: 

A peer run support group for queer neurodiverse folks.  This will be a safe space to discuss the overlap between neurodiversity and both sexual orientation and gender identity.  Navigating relationships, and to discuss experiences including, but not limited to those surrounding ABA. ~ DENVER ACE+ MEETUP:

A peer run support group for asexual, demisexuals, gray ace, aromantic, and those questioning any asexual identities.  Allies to the asexual community are also welcome. Half of the time is spent discussing a topic related to Asexuality and the other half of the time is for socializing. RSVP through our Facebook event page.  Facilitated by Storie Garrity.

~ SOUND OF HEALING CLASS

A different class will be taught by Storie Garrity each month. Remember to register online in advance: https://soundofhealing.setmore.com/bookclassCost is $15.  There will be time to learn and practice each technique taught in class.  There will also be discussion on how to utilize the techniques in your everyday life and time for answering questions.
