COMMUNITY DAYS CLINICS: Next Community Day Clinic: Saturday, 13 January from 1-5pm!!

**Note that there is also a Stone Soup Gathering (see below) on this day. Share a meal and get a treatment!!

Community Day Clinic = Community Care Collective’s monthly Donation (Pay What You Can – and yes you can pay with a smile) clinic to make sure that EVERYONE has access to good medicine.

All welcome! Please arrive Saturday, 13 January anytime between 1pm-4:30pm.  Treat yourself and try something new! While donations to support our programs are always accepted, we DO NOT require payment for Community Day services.

  • Sunday, 8 April from 1-5pm
  • Saturday, 5 May from 1-5pm

~ STONE SOUP GATHERINGS: Next Stone Soup Gathering Saturday, 13 January starting at 11am

Stone Soup Gathering are gatherings of friends to share a meal and kinship.  All are welcome!

 At Stone Soup Gatherings, we provide the meal and the space. There is enough food to go around. We welcome you to come and partake of a warm meal and good company. In the spirit of the Stone Soup legend, if you are able to donate to our gatherings, please consider giving any of the following:

Unopened frozen or canned non-perishables, such as:

  • green beans
  • corn
  • peas
  • carrots
  • small pastas

Also,

  • bread / muffins / rolls
  • spices – salt, pepper, etc,
  • onions/scallions
  • cash
  • space heaters (on loan for the day  is fine)

If you have clean, gently-used thermoses or food containers, we will accept those as well. We may also have leftover food to take if you would like to bring a container for yourself.

Please also consider donating your clean, gently-used scarves, gloves, coats, hats, boots, etc., during this event.  We will pass them onto someone who needs these items this time of year.

  • We have a winter coat/ gloves, etc. donation area just inside our entrance at 34th & Arapahoe. If you need something to keep warm – or would like to donate a gently used & clean items – these are available anytime we are open.

~ MEDITATION GROUP from 6:30-7:30pm every Tuesday

Join us any Tuesday evening 6:30-7:30pm in the Rainbow Room at Community Care Collective. We all need an opportunity to slow down, breathe, and focus. Beginning Minds Welcome!

 

~ Next PFLAG TRANS COMMUNITY CIRCLE: Wednesday, 14 February from 6:30-8pm

Community Care Collective is proud to host PFLAG Denver‘s monthly gathering for Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming individuals as well as their parents, family members, friends, and allies in our community. This group is a safe and welcoming space to ask questions and have honest and frank discussions about gender and gender identity.  The 2nd Wednesday of every month at Community Care Collective. Child and family friendly. Snacks served.
